skipping breakfast is never a good idea. but being late for work isn’t either. I’ve been working very intently on squeezing in the most productive mornings possible, while still getting out the door ahead of schedule. on my list of items to be checked off is eating breakfast. unless you count a large cup of coffee, I’ve been less than consistent starting my day off with a good meal. while I’d prefer to have a home-cooked deluxe breakfast of eggs, bacon + a perfectly toasted english muffin each day ..probably not realistic. I’ve discovered a meal that hits all my morning musts. and if I’m running a bit behind, I can put a lid on it and take it to work.
3 best yogurt toppings.
• apple slices | I love the flavor + texture apples add to yogurt. they’re crisp, crunchy + so fresh. bonus: they’re a fruit. (two points for being healthy).
• cinnamon | apples + cinnamon, a classic pair. plus I tend to buy the plain greek yogurt, which is desperate for some sort of help in the flavor department. cinnamon does not let me down.
• breakfast flats | I crave more sustenance in my morning yogurt, so I’d been reaching for granola. until I discovered these quaker breakfast flats. they practically serve as a scrumptious spoon. they come in different flavors, but all pair perfectly. I keep them stocked in my pantry. not to mention, I keep extras in my bag ..just in case a sudden sweet craving or snack attack occurs. we’ve all been there. (I received this product complimentary for testing purposes via influenster).
do you purchase flavored yogurt? or do you jazz it up at home? what are your favorite toppings?
