when you think of easter baskets, you think of kids. I’m trying to change that. mostly because it’s been entirely too long since I’ve had an easter basket and it was something I thoroughly enjoyed when I was younger. adults should be able to partake in the fun too. and since everyone knows how to throw together (or purchase a pre-assembled) easter basket for the children, I’m going to show you how to easily put together one for the adults. (plus: they have a dual purpose, just wait).
adult easter baskets.
grab as many wine glasses as you have adults coming over for the festivities. fill the bottom of the wine glasses with edible easter grass. (yes, it’s a real thing + it comes in three flavors). add an array of easter candy. I recommend a chocolate bunny, some fancy chocolate, egg-shaped candy, and bubble gum. world market has an amazing selection. go there! you can put name tags on each glass. or set them at each place setting for a sweet treat after their meal.
so, I mentioned they serve a dual purpose. tomorrow I’ll be showing you why the adult easter baskets are in wine glasses.
do you have an easter tradition? do you include the adults in the fun?
