housewarming basket.

we have entered the time of our lives where jobs, promotions, new homes, engagements, wedding, and babies are the norm. it’s fun to celebrate your friend’s successes, as well as your own.  [but thankfully when [J] gets promoted, I can just bring him a 6-pack of his favorite beer & he’s content]. but it can get mundane. it’s like you fall into a pattern. you find out the occasion, purchase your go-to gift, and voilà.

time for a gift-giving face lift.

I typically start with a pretty basket and fill it with goodies that fit a theme.

our friends just recently purchased a beautiful home. and to celebrate I mules. seriously. it’s summertime. they have a great outdoor space. and who doesn’t love moscow mules?

the essentials: vodka, ginger beer, lime juice [and/or limes], paper straws, & a pretty picture frame of the moscow mule recipe. for fun, I added a summery candle.

do not forget the card.

happy thursday.

Moscow Mules sound tasty, especially since ginger beer is sooo good 🙂
