once upon a time, in a land far far away .. I had the opportunity to drink guinness in the city it originated. where it flows freely + frequently. and if you get lucky, the bartenders will craft a shamrock in the foam. even luckier, you’ll meet a group of sweet locals who will show you how irish girls drink guinness. that’d be by adding just a dash of blackcurrant cordial. it’s
borderline dangerous. that was the night guinness + I began our love/hate relationship. (now, I have a max. of 2 rule). it is a delicious stout beer, that pairs wonderfully with sweet flavors. so it seemed only right to add it to chocolate pudding ..
guinness pudding shots.
to make these crowd pleasing, guinness-milkshake-tasting pudding shots, you need the following ingredients ..
• 1 small package of chocolate instant pudding
• 3/4 cup of milk
• 3/4 cup of guinness
• 1 tub of whipped cream
• mini chocolate chips
• top with: whipped cream, mini chocolate chips + green sprinkles
whisk together instant pudding, guinness, and milk. add a sprinkle, or two of mini chocolate chips. slowly add the entire tub of whipped cream. place mini chocolate chips in bottom of each cup (to up the fun factor). divide the pudding mixture into your serving cups and place in freezer. let freeze for approximately 2 hours before serving. top with whipped cream, chocolate chips + sprinkles. add a spoon.
(highly recommend purchasing the cups + spoons at the dollar store).
