hot cocoa nights.

hot cocoa nights

some of my very favorite cold winter nights are spent at home. wearing overly festive flannel pajamas. cozy under a throw blanket on the couch. sipping hot cocoa topped with whipped cream + sprinkles. watching a heartwarming holiday movie. it’s in those moments I’m grateful for the colder temperatures outside.

hot cocoa nights. (+ a giveaway).

hot cocoa nights

my love + fondness for hot cocoa nights inspired me to gift some of my favorite people exactly what they needed to replicate the night in their own home. I rather gift an experience than an item. something you can make memories around. to spice things up, the husband + I made sure to give our loved ones peppermint schnapps & a holiday movie to enjoy along with it.

what are some of your very favorite holiday memories? can you wrap them up for your nearest + dearest to enjoy too?

to share the holiday cheer, I want one lucky person to get everything they need for their own cozy hot cocoa night at home. (all of the goodies pictured below: 3 hot coca mixes, natural vanilla marshmallows, and two holiday mugs). be sure to enter – the winner will be announced friday, December 18th!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

congratulations lindsey s – everything you need for a hot cocoa night at home is coming to your doorstep!

I love being at home with my family too. the husband + I are spending an early Christmas w/ my family this weekend, and actual Christmas with his. I’m excited to just be cozied up with family and very little agenda. happy holidays!! 🙂

My favorite nights are when it’s snowing and I have my grandkids all around me watching Christmas movies with our fireplace…(electric 🙂 )

    • Little Lessons by Chelsea December 18, 2015 at 11:04 pm

electric fireplaces provided the same ambiance and are less dangerous, at least that’s how I feel. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for snow. merry Christmas! 🙂

I love to curl up under my heated blanket and watch a movie!

    • Little Lessons by Chelsea December 18, 2015 at 11:07 pm

I don’t have a heated blanket, but I am not above putting my blankets in the dryer to warm ’em up a bit. (cheesy hallmark holiday movies for the win!!).

Give me a cocktail (warm or cold), a fire in the fireplace, and a movie with my husband under a blanket, and I’m a happy camper on a cold winter night!

we’re on the same page – that’s my ideal. (for the record: I tend to spike my hot cocoa).

This would be perfect on a cold, snowy night while watching Home Alone… To think I am wishing for snow, in December, in Iowa is a little crazy!

    • Little Lessons by Chelsea December 18, 2015 at 11:10 pm

we’ve been getting nothing but rain. and while I am typically the opposite of the person asking for snow, it’d be nice around Christmas. (at the least, cut the rain).

I love cuddling up with the kiddos and hubby with the flames of the fire and my Christmas trees the only lights while watching Christmas movies…. LOVE!!

yes, I wish it was acceptable to keep the Christmas tree up year-round. I love the twinkle of the lights on the tree 🙂
