I won’t bore you with how crazy I think it is we are already in the third month of 2015. I am still writing 2014, or january on most every dated document. but with
the sneak attack open arms, we welcome march. and all of the festivities that come with it; including daylight savings time, spring, and st. patrick’s day.
to celebrate one of my most favorite holidays, I go all out.
festive beverages are a must.
traditional irish cuisine, in finger food form. an overload of green. and don’t forget a splash of rainbow, and a pot of gold.
irish pudding shots.
to make these crowd pleasing + st. patrick’s day appropriate pudding shots, you need the following ingredients ..
• 1 small package of cookies + creme instant pudding
• 3/4 cup of milk
• 3/4 cup of creme de menthe
• 1 tub of whipped cream
• top with: whipped cream + rainbow sprinkles
whisk together instant pudding, creme de menthe, and milk. slowly add the entire tub of whipped cream. divide the pudding mixture into your serving cups and place in freezer. let freeze for approximately 2 hours before serving. top with whipped cream + sprinkles. add a spoon.
[side note: the plastic champagne flutes + silver spoons are perfect. and I got them at the dollar store. score!].
they taste like mint cookies & creme, for adults. they’re sure to be a hit. plus how adorable are they?
