I am a mountain girl, living in the flattest part of our country. that’s been fairly clear my entire life. but became even more evident during the 5 days the husband + I recently spent in Park City, UT. we were there for our friend’s wedding, but decided we’d turn it into a little getaway. (we had visited once before, and had been really wanting to get back).
our first morning, we got up early + went for a jog through the neighborhood. with the end goal being coffee, obviously. but it was amazing! the scenery, the fresh mountain air, the friendly people, all of it. I could see myself doing that daily. or rather, have a really hard time leaving ..
my love for utah.
we made multiple trips to the no name saloon. dinner + craft beers at the local brewery, wasatch on our first night. we were in awe of the athletes practicing at the olympic park. a visit to the sundance resort, which included a ride up the mountain on a ski lift + cocktails at the owl bar. and of course, our lunch in the mountains at the montage deer valley. I am in love with utah, and I don’t care who knows it. (I recommend if you haven’t made a trip yet. it’s time).
