during my radio silence last week, I was in omaha, nebraska. for four days of work training.
it just so happened, I arrived in town a mere thirty minutes before the tornado sirens went off. the city took shelter. and I took to the bar. [I get extreme weather anxiety. and I sure as heck was not staying in my high in the sky hotel room]. who else thinks I should be able to expense my sunday night, braving the tornado cocktails? I do. well, that’s how the trip started.
[*editor’s note: a tornado was spotted west of omaha. we just experienced 80 mph winds + thunderstorms].
days were spent in a marriott conference room. and nights were for discovering omaha.
from hotel room wine glass improvising, to the joy of changing out of my work clothes & into jeans, to delicious dinners, and a trip to the zoo. all captured by my phone.
I am happy to be home and back to my so-called routine. just as things are progressively getting crazier around these parts. it seems surreal to say we are in ‘wedding planning crunch time,’ with just over 4 months to go. summer is right around the corner. we have trips + celebrations on the books. I’m just excited and a little how the heck am I going to get everything done?.
yay for you being back! i missed ya!
I have that same j.crew top! I’m glad you are safe and sound back at home. 🙂
love the outfits, and your pretty hair, and that delicious looking mexican food.
glad you had a good trip!
